Hello, world!

Greetings, and welcome to The Enquirist! This is a blog about coding, technology, and entrepreneurship. Or at least those are the themes. Really, this is a blog about my personal learning journey as I go from tech newbie to (hopefully) well-rounded tech entrepreneur. I’m Sev, and I created this blog as a way to document my thoughts along what I expect to be a long and difficult path. I have the sense that there are a lot of like-minded folks out there and I hope that this blog will be a way to connect with at least a few of them.

Truth be told, I’m pretty new at the tech game, but I’m learning fast. If there is one thing I am certain of though, it’s that the road ahead remains uncertain. Although it’s a long road, I can see already that it consists of many forks, twists, turns, and dead-ends. I have done my best to chart a path, or at least some semblance of one, for my personal journey; however, I’m sure that it will require much redrawing along the way. Coding in particular, and tech in general, is a field so deep, and so broad, that it seems almost impossible to know exactly where you’re going and how to get there. The goal of this blog is to help me remember where I’ve been so that I can have a better sense of where I’m going.

I intend post a variety of content to this blog, ranging from descriptions of material I am learning about, to links to resources and articles that I have found useful, to musings about my personal journey. If you have found this blog, then I am guessing that you may be on a similar journey. If that’s the case, then I very much welcome your feedback. A path like this one isn’t easy, and difficult paths are always better traversed together. read more
